Gradible.com describes themselves as “a free platform to help US college graduates manage, understand, and pay down their student loans faster” using a variety of opportunities that can either lower monthly payments or cut total costs.

How Does It Work?

According to their website, in the United States today more than 40 million Americans hold students loans that total more than $1.3 trillion, and it is the only type of loan in the US that is currently not forgivable in a bankruptcy, despite the fact that many people struggle to make ends meet each month due to overwhelming loan payments.

The goal of Gradible.com is to provide loan evaluation resources which make sure that members have a loan repayment plan and options which actually suits their financial situation, making successful repayment of student loans less burdensome.

They do this in a variety of ways, including providing their members exclusive discounts and offers, a list of flexible earning opportunities which can accelerate repayment, and resources which will determine if they can reduce their total loan amount, have debt forgiven, or lower monthly payments.

To get started, you will be asked whether you are interested in paying less monthly or in paying less total. You will then create your detailed profile, verifying your student loans, and giving them the chance to better match you with earnings opportunities and discounts that fit your needs.

Anyone with a student loan issued by a US institution, public or private, is eligible for their membership, and they will not only offer suggestions for refinancing or loan modification unless that is truly your best option.

Cost/Price Plans

At this time, the services and opportunities provided by this website are completely free. Customers can create an account and receive their advice at no charge to the member themselves. Instead, the website says that they are paid a small referral fee whenever you choose to take part in an offer or opportunity posted on their website that either makes or saves you money.

Refund Policy

Since this website does not actually take any money from their members and there is no plan for this website to collect member fees at a future time, they do not have any reason to provide a Refund Policy at this time.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who have questions, concerns, or complaints they would like to direct to their Customer Service team can contact them by email at [email protected] or by submitting them directly to their website through their Contact Us link.

Reputation

The bottom line appears that Gradible.com is actually a crowdsourcing website, which is a type of website that provides people with small, simple tasks they can do simply and will be paid small sums of money for.

However, instead of cutting you a check once these tasks are completed, the check is cut directly to your student loan processor, allowing you to pay off your student loans faster than you would otherwise.

Because of this, though, Gradible.com receives the same criticism as many other crowdsourcing websites – there are not enough tasks to complete, they pay so little it takes lots of time to actually earn enough money that will make any sort of impact on your student loans, etc.

It is important to note that this website does not have any criticism regarding their failure to pay or their inability to provide the opportunities for earning that they claim they do. It’s just whether or not you are able to find enough tasks that you qualify for to justify this as a worthwhile way to help you pay down your student loans.

Competitors and Alternatives?

There are many other websites and companies which claim to help people suffering from the burden of student loans, but unfortunately most of these companies are predatory organizations that want to charge people fees for “exploring” their options, and then ultimately report that they cannot help them, or they provide them with assistance they could have gotten for free.

There are, however, some companies that do attempt to help student loan borrowers find new options or solutions, including Credible.com.
