Coast One Financial Group, found online at CoastOneFinancialGroup.com, is a company who says their whole mission is to help people resolve IRS related problems and put you “on the fast track to financial recovery.”

How Does It Work?

The Coast One Financial Group website actually provides prospective customers with very little information on their website itself, instead preferring that customers submit their contact information to their website and have one of their qualified representatives contact you directly.

Their website does say, however, that their team has the ability to stop any collection efforts being made by the IRS, remove any liens the IRS or state may have in place, help you reduce the total amount of back taxes you owe by around 80%, and eventually help you receive the fresh start you deserve.

They promise their customers that they have more than 25 years of experience in resolving and reducing IRS and state tax debt. Their team is made up of tax advisors, attorneys, enrolled agents, and certified public accountants that are all dedicated to solving the toughest tax issues.

Cost/Price Plans

Since every person’s case and circumstances will be very different, this website does not publish standard pricing for their services. Instead, the consultation they offer is completely free, and after they collect all the important information about your case, you can question the representative about the estimated cost of their services as it relates to your specific situation.

Refund Policy

Like this website does not provide pricing information, it also does not publish any information regarding Refund Policies. Instead, clients should speak to their representative about what kinds of guarantees are in place, or whether they outline a process for disputing any costs or fees in their contract.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 800-300-7474.

Reputation

Unfortunately, tax resolution services are considered companies that should ultimately be avoided at all costs. According to this article in Forbes Magazine, the vast majority of these services have no legal authority to deal with the IRS whatsoever, and will often charge their clients thousands of dollars without having any ability to resolve their tax problem.

Though it is true that each individual’s situation will be different, it is just never really advised by any source to contact a resolution company. In fact, the best plan for people suffering from tax problems, according to Forbes, US News, and the IRS themselves, is to first contact the IRS directly and ask about what options they have which will suit your circumstances.

If you feel that the IRS has not offered you options that will genuinely work for you, and you are interested in an alternative plan, you should contact an established and well rated Tax Attorney who deals with your type of tax problem.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Certainly there are many, many other companies and websites offering tax problem solutions or resolutions, but they are likely to be similar to Coast One Financial Group.
