UK to provide ‘no matter assist’ vital following ‘devastating’ deadly aircraft crash, says minister
Sarah Jones says individuals within the UK are “utterly distraught” following a deadly aircraft crash in India yesterday.
The Air India flight was travelling to London Gatwick, with 242 passengers and crew on board. However it crashed inside minutes of taking off in Ahmedabad, and officials consider all people on board has died, aside from one British man in seat 11A.
At the least 53 of these on board the plane had been British residents.
The business minister calls the state of affairs “completely devastating” and bs2best.at says her personal constituency of Croydon has a big Indian group.
She says: “I do know that persons are utterly distraught.”
